Meet Dr. Alessi
Every day, people of all ages and walks of life choose to have facial plastic surgery. Some want
to correct birth defects or disfigurements caused by an accident, injury or illness. Others desire
cosmetic procedures to change the appearance of facial features they have been unhappy with
for many years. Still others long to reverse the signs of aging on their faces. Dr. Alessi focuses
on truly listening to his patients to completely understand their concerns and ultimate goals.
Facial plastic surgeons specialize in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery to correct and improve
the appearance and function of structures in the face, head and neck. They are usually board-
certified in Otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) and have undergone five to six years of
postgraduate education, including two years in general surgery and four years of head and neck
surgery, including extensive facial plastic surgery training. Dr. Alessi uses his combined
experiences to develop a plastic surgery method that utilizes all aspects of a patient's tissues to
maximize function and the aesthetic result. Many surgeons only "move skin around", and this will
only lead to short-lived and inferior results. Using his total anatomy method, Dr. Alessi has
consistently delivered an unparalleled success rate for his patients.
